Bono identify himself as a “pain in the arse”

Rock band U2's member Bono has identify himself as a “pain in the arse”. He wrote about the band history, “I know I can be a pain in the arse. I have an annoying gene; it's in my DNA - I even annoy myself. When righteous anger turns to self-righteous, projectile vomit is the right response.”

Bono also said, “All I can say is that you can become traumatised as well as inspired by the lives you meet along the dirt road of extreme poverty. Watching the bright light of life go out of some kid's eyes gets me to a place I can't explain. Sometimes I forget that I'm an artist, but I shouldn't, because that's what I am, a working pop artist in a big F-Off rock band.”

U2: Transmit Tribute to John Lennon

U2 Serenade Hamish and Andy


U2,made a surprise appearance to give a fine tribute to the rock stars of Australian radio.

U2 lead singer Bono and guitarist The Edge,the world top music band was at the Sidney Myer Music Bowl last night and both singer strode on stage during Hamish and Andy's live broadcast and sang their 1989 hit Desire.

The band interrupted a ditty that Hamish Blake and Andy Lee were singing, called We are better than U2.
