U2's Bono said that band record a new album

U2's Bono has said to band that now record a new album, the Pixies have revealed.

Guitarist Joey Santiago revealed that Bono told fans that their new material to work was one of a large number, in an interview with Spinner

He said: “Bono even asked… He's like, "Please make a record!' Goddamn, we can't leave that unturned. That would frustrate me. It would. I think we should do it. But it's up to everybody.”
